Introducing…
The newest addition to Nantucket's birth and parenting community: Papoose, a community resource center for moms and dads.
Still in its infancy, Papoose currently offers lactation support services, select classes and support groups for both moms and dads, and online resources on topics ranging from pregnancy and parenting to green living and nutrition. Papoose is proud to partner with the Community Network for Children and Nantucket Cottage Hospital bring these much needed resources to the island.
As Papoose grows, we hope to further support island families through the addition of a natural maternity and baby boutique, specializing in maternity, breastfeeding, and postpartum clothing, as well as baby-wearing, cloth diapering, infant feeding, and eco-friendly gifts and gear.
